Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Glenyi—soul behind The Munchie Studio, and someone who’s been creating with her hands and heart since 2012, when I first discovered the joy of making with my Cricut. For years, crafting was my outlet—my way to bring a little more beauty and intention into the everyday.

But in 2023, everything changed. My beloved husband, Ollie—my best friend, my soulmate, my forever love—passed into eternity. Though he’s no longer with me in the physical sense, I haven’t lost him. He lives in me—in the quiet moments, in my heartbeat, in every piece I create. I became a widow at 33.

Grief arrived like a storm, reshaping everything I once knew. The pain, the silence, the weight of it all—there are no perfect words to describe it. There were moments I didn’t know if I could keep going. And even now, the ache still lingers. It always will—because he is still my person. And the love we share didn’t end... it simply changed form.

But in the depths of that heartbreak, I found myself held—not just by memory, but by mercy. It’s been Jesus—His love, His nearness, and His quiet companionship—who has walked every step with me. In the moments I couldn’t carry myself, He carried me. Creating became my way of honoring both that sacred love and the ache that remains.

The Munchie Studio is where my heart lives now. Every piece I create, every note is touched by the love I carry for Ollie—and the grace I receive daily from God. This isn’t just a shop. It’s a space for softness, for hope, for healing. It’s my way of saying: You are not alone. Whether you're walking through grief, change, or growth—you are held here, just as I’ve been held.
